Since The Log Cabin Gallery opened for its first exhibit in the fall of 1999, several artists have become “regulars” showcasing their work at more than one exhibit each year.

cabin_gabrielegeishaGabriele Bryant  Gabriele’s current medium is mainly flat window panels using the copper foil method.  Since she loves the outdoors and all aspects of nature, she incorporates some of her favorite themes into her pieces including botanicals, water, wildlife, geodes & gems.  According to Gabriele, glass is a wonderful choice artistically because of the wide array of colors, textures, hues, shades and depths.  Glass is watercolor in a solid form.

SONY DSCDave Repicky  Dave began creating his functional, organic forms in 1998 when he met Bob Yost of the Middlebury Pottery School and Yost Tile.  Dave worked out of his own studio creating his work and glazed and fired at Bob’s. In 2009 Dave became self sufficient, mixing his own glazes and firing in his kiln. Much of his early work was based on nature and in things found…Over time Dave’s art has been influenced greatly by the glass master Dale Chihuly.

cabin_gwenboxGwen Waight  Stuff: stuff is whatever you have, mi stuf is what Gwen has found over the years, throughout the country. Gwen then creates unique objects using these found objects incorporated with canvas, boxes, felt, paper, paint, fabric and toys.   Her assemblages and constructions are sometimes abstract, but often figurative using coveted hardware and found objects.
